Flywheels are relatively responsive energy storage technologies, making them ideal for use in applications that require fast response times.

 

Hydrogen Storage: The hydrogen storage system stores energy in the form of hydrogen, and it needs to use excess electricity to produce hydrogen through electrolysis of water and store it for emergencies. When electricity is needed, hydrogen can be used to generate electricity through fuel cells or burned in gas turbines.
